Rhodochrosite
The Uchucchacua mine has produced some of the finest quality Rhodochrosite specimens around. Their attractive crystals combined with rich pink and red colors make for some beautiful specimens. This miniature size specimen hosts a few sharp, gemmy, red color scalenohedral crystals of Rhodochrosite measuring up to 11 mm long on matrix. A nice sample of this well known material from Peru.
