Beryl var. Emerald
A glassy and gemmy, single, superb thumbnail emerald crystal! Along with excellent saturation of color, this doubly-terminated emerald crystal from the Jos Plateau exhibits the most coveted of colors to many collectors (including myself) with a tinge of blue tone that adds a more saturated and rich color, compared to most Colombian emeralds. Weight is 11.4 carats. A stunning jewel of a crystal from old finds here (crystals of this quality were only found a few times, in the 1990s and early 2000s), good as a specimen or as a pendant too. ex.
