Calcite with Manganese
Alex Schauss built a significant suite of calcite thumbnail crystals, from all different locations and all different habits. Here we have elongated scalenohedral crystals that look more like old English classics, and yet it came from a small prospect in Mexico. A specialty in the suite was the inclusions, and this has numerous manganese dendrite inclusions within. A really striking specimen in person, and complete all around.
