Astrophyllite
A particularly fine cabinet specimen from this important locality on the Kola Peninsula of Russia with starburst-like radiating bundles of thick, brassy, metallic-foil-like, flat-laying crystals to 5.5 cm embedded on three sides of the matrix. Astrophyllite is a relatively uncommon titanium silicate found in nepheline syenites and alkali granites and this is an extremely fine and rich example of the species and locality. Ex. Tarnowski Collection.
