Source special issue: self-collected-minerals, PDF page: 228. Label: Barite, 10 cm, from the Northumberland mine, Nye County, Nevada; collected in 1987. The largest crystal on this specimen measures 5.5 cm tall. The crystals are zoned from dark gray in the center to colorless and pale yellow at the edges.
