Pyromorphite
Milton Lavers was a renowned collector of Broken Hill minerals with many of his specimens being the finest or largest examples ever found in the mines. This remarkable classic brown Pyromorphite from North mine from his collection reaches a spectacular 18 cm across and is richly crystallized and in excellent overall condition, displaying both acicular and coral-like crystal growths. As such an important mine both historically and mineralogically, specimens from there remain extremely sought after and highly collectible. As one of the finest large Pyromorphites known from there, this museum quality specimen will significantly enhance any Australian collection, or indeed collection of Pyromorphite, or other supergene species.
