Dolomite
Dolomite, 13.2 cm, from a newly discovered gash vein on the east bank of the Grasse River just above Jackson Falls, St. Lawrence County, New York. In 2018, Donnie was exploring the area around the Pyrites Mica mine on the old Kelly farm. Just above the falls, he discovered two new localities. The dolomite-calcite gash vein contained some large and fairly aesthetic specimens of dolomite. Steve Chamberlain collection and photo.
