Epidote
Epidote, 12.7 cm, from Knappenwand, Untersulzbach Valley, Salzburg, Austria. Epidote crystals were first found at the Knappenwand locality in 1865 and have been collected there intermittently ever since. The majority of fine specimens were found early on, though collecting continues there today.
