Quartz var. Smoky (Scepter, Enhydro)$2,000.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
This quartz specimen has incredible glassy luster and is a complete floater cluster from the famous finds in Namibia in the late 1990s and early 2000s. It is complete and undamaged all around, with geometric appeal for the balance and form. If you look closely, you can get mesmerized by the subtle phantoms and forms within as the crystal grades between clear and smoky zones - better in person. The piece is notable and stands out from the average, as witnessed by the fact that it was in Charlie Key's personal collection, which he sold to Marshall and Charlotte Sussman in 2003 or so. Marshall Sussman then sold much of his quartz collection to myself and others circa 2007; and then this remarkable cluster ended up in the Bill Larson quartz collection for more than another decade. Although the region still produces quartz as of 2025, the style is different and this is recognizable and distinct from modern era finds. This pieces does have a noticeable moving air bubble enhydro in the center (can be seen best at 42 seconds in the video).
