An attractive branching crystallized grouping of native copper with little attached matrix. The crystals are well defined and in great condition. This has a very fine patina and is complete all around. In great condition. The specimen at one time was part of the collection of Louis Lafayette and is said to date back to the late 1800s. A series of labels come with the specimen as seen in the child photo. One of these labels mentions that this was part of the collection of a Captain Dunston was a mine superintendent in 1890.
