Stolzite
Stolzite from the Tsumeb mine was not recognized until the 1980s. This specimen features several crystals that are visible without a loupe but best appreciated with magnification. This specimen features on a matrix of what is likely germanite ore with small gemmy quartz crystals. It is a fairly uncommon mineral resulting from the oxidation of lead and tungsten orebodies. Worldwide only a handful of localities have good specimens and Tsumeb possesses some of the finest specimens ever discovered. Here is your chance or add a unusual Tsumeb rarity to your collection.
