A large specimen of quartz epimorph after calcite from Crystal Cave in Ouray. This glittering cluster shows nice relief and intact terminations all around. The interior displays sharp scalenohedral impressions left by the now dissolved calcite. The specimen is largely hollow and glows with backlight. This is a cool Colorado specimen with nice structure.
