Bournonite
Here we have an absolute classic! A cogwheel twin bournonite from the famed Herodsfoot Mine in England. These specimens are very historic having been produced in the mid 1800s. What is nice about this specimen is that not only is it antiquarian, it is quite aesthetic. The bournonites have good metallic luster and make a nice crown on top of the contrasting lustrous white quartz. I do note one ding to a bournonite but at this age I don’t think the damage unreasonable. I personally find it very astounding to hold a specimen that is over 150 years old.
