Checkout the Pricing Guide
Probably one of the most useful feature for any collector either if you are a newbie or a professional collector the pricing guide will help you see the past sales of each specimen on EarthWonders. ( We are trying our best to bring in data of sales of minerals before we started tracking too )
Features of the Pricing Guide:
Overal Total Sales:
The first thing you notice once you scroll down to the pricing guide is the overall Total items sold and the total value of all the items. So It is 121 items sold and the combine value of $649,119 for gold sold.
Date Filter:
You can filter the sales data in a specific date range. You can choose the year and month date filters.
Bar Chart:
The bar chart gives you an idea of where the most of the sales are happening and it also shows the quantity of the specimens sold in that specific price range. In the given gold example you can see that there was one gold specimen sold for $118,750 and you can hover over the bar chart to see the total number of sold items and total value of the sold items in that particular price range.

Preview of Sold Specimens:
When you click on the bar chart, you will be able to see previews of all the specimens sold with their prices. You can scroll down to see all the specimens.

How This Data is Collected:
We partner with trusted mineral dealers who've given us permission to monitor their listings. Our system tracks when specimens move from "for sale" to "sold." While we can't capture private negotiations, this data gives you a solid picture of market prices. We only track authorized dealers, so you can trust the information you see here comes from legitimate sources.
Singapore Mineral Show
Last week, we visited the Singapore Mineral Show. Singapore has become one of my favorite places to travel after this visit personally. The Mineral Show is organized by a show committee and fully supported by the main organizers, Anthony Tan and Jeff Tan. The show had a friendly atmosphere with many familiar faces. Until now, the show has been happening three times a year; however, there have been talks to reduce it to twice a year starting next year, as they are planning to move to a better venue in Singapore. The final show of the year will be taking place this October.

We were also invited to a Friendship Lunch at Anthony Tan's house the day before the show. Anthony has an amazing collection of specimens from around the world. He has been in this industry for more than 30 years, and we loved hearing his stories. It was a friendly gathering where we met other awesome collectors based in Singapore, including Jojo & Mike from LA.Mineralien, Joyce, and Gerome.
Anthony's hospitality was amazing. He had prepared delicious food for us, shared some Raja Bananas from his own garden, and even showed us around his backyard pond full of beautiful fish. It was fascinating to hear his personal stories about meeting dealers and collectors from around the world and how he first got into mineral collecting.
The Singapore mineral collecting community is really tight knit community and growing steadily. They've got some exciting plans in the works, including moving the show to a new location that should help attract more visitors. Behind the scenes, they're putting in a lot of effort to make minerals more accessible and interesting to everyone.
