Tourmaline/Quartz, Blue-Green pocket - Pederneira mine, Brazil
specimen
Tourmaline/Quartz, Blue-Green pocket
Description

Highly transparent tourmaline from the Blue-Green pocket, which was found at the Pederneira Mine in 2005. The pocket is characterized by highly transparent blue-green tourmalines, many of which where cut into fine gemstones. This one stood out to me due to the high degree of transparency and the nice accenting quartz crystal at the base.
