Azurite and malachite - Czar Mine, USA
specimen
Azurite and malachite
Description

Azurite rosettes to 1.3 cm on malachite from the 200' level of the Czar Mine at Bisbee, Arizona. The specimen is pictured on p. 649 of Arizona VI, July-August 2015 Mineralogical Record. Although noted in the magazine as a former Ben Williams piece, I received visual confirmation from Bill Larson that it was not part of the historic Williams lot he obtained. Former Jim and Gail Spann collection. Tom Spann photo.
