These apatites from Durango, Mexico are quite iconic, being super recognizable both by the crystals and the host matrix. This is a fun small cabinet sized specimen with 2 nice main crystals positioned in a pretty aesthetic way.

The deposit is an iron mine in altered volcanics. These crystals are often prepped to expose them of the surrounding calcite by etching.
