A Colorado classic. The pegmatites of the Lake George area are famous for producing some of the best microcline var amazonite in the world. The robin's egg blue color comes from lead impurities in the crystal structure. The hue can vary from being very pale to a saturated sky blue (or even more towards green). This one in particular also has dramatic white caps/stripes which add some great accents.
Minor albite, is also present with one cute cluster on the left side of the crystal, along with some smoky quartz as well.
