It is from Murchison Shire in Western Australia, where 114 people live in an area of 41,000 sq km. The Native Gold forms not one crystal, but at least three cubo-octahedral crystals stacked upon each other in a linear fashion. The lower two crystals which individually measure 6 mm across are co-joined with the third crystal (7 mm across) balanced on top.
