Artigas amethyst crystals are known for their intense, grape-jelly color. They also tend to be small, sharp, and tremendously lustrous, forming in shimmering clusters. This anomaly is a work of multi-generational art. At its center is a robust, white, hexagonal crystal, which is a combination of calcite and quartz. Starkly contrasted by its dark, shimmering bed of amethyst, the piece has an otherworldly quality that is simply sensational.
