Mimetite

Well-developed blocky to prismatic double terminated crystals of light yellow Mimetite, are seen scattered along an edge of the specimen, from the classic German location of Johanngeorgenstadt. Crystals of Mimetite measure to 1.1cm on a Quartz matrix with a minute druse surface, stained red by Fe-oxides. The specimen comes with a number of collection labels.
