A cream-colored limestone stalactite has developed such that it ended up penetrating the surface of a lagune of water rich in dissolved calcite, causing the latter to crystallize in a cluster of white crystals around the stalactite's extremity; the cluster's horizontal base precisely reflects the surface of the lagune.
