Group of two large, intact, greenish, separate crystals, with lustrous faces, bearing few fractures and displaying some translucent areas. They are developed on a matrix of altered pegmatite. The latter was not removed down to the root of the crystals, as is often the case, which gives a more “natural” appearance to the sample compared to many similar samples where the roots are exposed and often unpleasant to look at. The crystals are shiny because they grew in a mainly geodic fashion, which is rare for the species whose crystals are most often trapped in kaolin and show therefore matt surfaces.
