Cuprite
0 for sale
Intact, lustrous group of two polysynthetic half-octahedrons joined at the base with slight angular shifting and semi-crystallized silver threads at the junction. The metallic color becomes red only on the surface under strong light, which is probably due to the fact that the cuprite crystallized in this sample with a higher proportion of tenorite than that of African cuprites.
