This beautiful Fluorite on Quartz measures 6 inches across, and is from the famed Yaogangxian Mine in Hunan, China. The main focus is on the two large, highly translucent, emerald-green octahedral Fluorite crystals. These structural masterpieces sit on contrasting pure white crystallized Quartz. In the bottom right quadrant, there are also two later-stage, small, colorless, cubic Fluorite crystals which add to the overall uniqueness of the piece. It is unusual to find two generations of Fluorite with different colors and crystal forms on the same specimen. This specimen is scientifically interesting, and aesthetic at the same time; a combination one always appreciates.
