Dark bottle-green, lustrous, Libethenite crystals to 4 mm on edge richly coat a mixed matrix of granular milky Quartz and Libethenite. The Libethenite forms as both single and stacked orthorhombic crystals, often with nested triangular faces. Where edges catch transmitted light, flashes of electric lime-green are visible. A little iron stained Quartz frames one end of the specimen. A rich specimen with good large crystals from the Type Locality of ?ubietov' (Libethen) in Bansk' Bystrica County, Slovakia.
