Fluorite on Muscovite

A pair of leaf to emerald-green cuboctahedron Fluorite crystals sit on, and contrast against, a thick plate of pearly-white Muscovite mica from Davib Ost Farm 61 at Karibib in the Erongo Region of Namibia. The much larger Fluorite crystal measures 2 cm at its widest point and has additional modified faces of higher order than the cube and octahedron. All faces are micro-etched and frosted save for the top cubic face, which is smooth and transparent, so allowing the interior of the crystal to be viewed. A most attractive and showy small miniature Fluorite from Erongo.
